No Equine Therapy

IMG_8649The first winter storm came through Oklahoma on Friday evening spreading ice and snow in its path.  We were at 27 degrees overnight but the precipitation stayed south.  Even so, the Hunter Pace was postponed until Dec. 7.  I hope there will be good weather for it but we will be at the 4-H yearend banquet so will not be able to join them.  Temperatures were in the 30’s during the day on Sat. and Sun. but not close enough to 40 to get me outside to ride.  Instead we dropped the girls at a movie on Saturday and went to lunch.

Thunder and Echo are getting feisty but Echo still demands to eat from the bottle.  They got dewormer as well as 2 kinds of antibiotic (one shot on Wed.) and a ten day treatment to combat e-coli and worms – ugh.  They are still to little to get vaccinations or flea treatment; I have tried the flea comb and just gave myself a serious allergy attack.  They will be moving to the greenhouse as soon as possible so my allergies won’t get out of control.  The little flea bags are cute.

Meanwhile.  I miss riding with my YaYa Sisters.
